Don Xavier was born in the small town of Piasco, on the Island of Fogo, Cape Verde Island.
Since launching his career in the financial services industry in 1987, Don has done it all. His first appointment in the industry was as an agent with a large Canadian Insurance Company. His twenty two years in the business began with humble beginnings, from knocking on doors, selling individual policies to designing marketing strategies and building a successful Managing General Agency.
In 1995, he joined Versatile Financial Group as the General Manager of Insurance Operations and in May 1999, he was promoted to his current position as President & CEO.
Don has advised hundreds of Canadian families and businesses on their life, health insurance and financial planning needs. He knows the insurance industry inside and out and he's put that knowledge to work into his book, Motivational Cycles to Successful Selling and his seminars and workshops across North America. Don uses his insider's knowledge to provide the reader with the motivation and confidence they need to transform their life and business based on his personal experiences.
